How to Apply

Fill out the online form below or print and fill out a PDF Application form and bring it with you to the next club event. Hand it in to any one of our board members in attendance.

PTR YOUTH AMBASSADOR

The PTR Youth Ambassador program is an opportunity for our younger members to take an active role in our club.

There are several duties that an Ambassador would be responsible for. Some of these duties would be during general meetings and would include greeting current members, welcoming new members, helping board members during meetings (pass out raffle tickets, handle the sign-in sheet, help guest speakers get organized, serve ice-cream during the ice cream social, whatever other needs arise). Other duties would be during shows and would include welcoming new members and encouraging all contestants. Lastly, we would require help with other events as needed such as the Mystery Silent Auction, Banquet Prep, and Fun Shows.

In order to be considered for the Youth Ambassador Program you need to meet the following requirements:

• Must have been a member in good standing for a least one year
• Must be between the ages of 10-17 (as of January 1, 2021)
• Must attend at least 50% of the meetings
• Must fill out an application
• Must be comfortable talking to new peers and adults

We don’t want the program to be all work and no fun, so there would definitely be some benefits to being an Ambassador. Some of those benefits include:

• 4 volunteer hours
• It looks great on resumes
• It’s a great way to be an active member in the club

**Our Ambassadors would need to understand that they are representing PTR at all times. They would be expected to have a positive attitude, great sportsmanship, and be very friendly to each participant at our events.
