Welcome To Parker Trail Riders!

PTR is a non-profit organization located in Parker, Colorado. We welcome new members and are family oriented.

Our goal is to provide Parker area horse riders with opportunities to participate in equestrian events, training clinics, trail rides and shows. Activities include monthly English/Western pleasure shows, fun shows, gymkhanas, scenic trail rides, overnight rides, parades and many social functions. Numerous clinics are provided throughout the year to help teach and practice showmanship and show techniques.

Are You Interested in Serving on the PTR Board?

Parker Trail Riders needs your help!

Board elections are coming up this fall. Our board members serve one-year terms and as such, all of the board positions become open every year. Most years, the incumbent board members run unopposed. The result has been that we have multiple board members who have served 4 – 10 consecutive years!

This year, we have multiple board members who have decided, due to increasing family responsibilities, not to run for their offices in 2023.

  • President*
  • Secretary*
  • Communications Chair
  • Pleasure Show Chair
  • Trail Chair
  • Social Chair**

*Must be filled for club to continue to function in 2023

**Vacant in 2022

This is a great opportunity for our club to get new help and new ideas! Prospective board members will have the opportunity to take the club in new directions and try their ideas.

No Experience, No Problem!

The PTR board is a fun and supportive group that all want to see the club succeed. Any new board members will receive help and guidance from the board members they are replacing and of course the remaining board members who are continuing.
