Parades

It’s a new year for “PARADES and spook proofs”! You and your horse(s) must attend and successfully pass a club spook proof prior to riding in any parades with PTR.

The “spook proof clinics” will be held three times per year, weather permitting. See our Calendar of Events for details.

If you’d like to participate in an upcoming spook proof clinic, you can sign up in-person at the clinic or use our new online form.

We are looking forward to our club’s involvement in the surrounding communities as they kick off their rodeo and fair activities:
  • Our first scheduled parade will be the Elizabeth Stampede, in June.
  • The second parade will be the Elbert County Fair, in August.
  • The Parker Carriage Days, in December is typically our third and final parade however it has been canceled indefinitely.
Riders and walkers receive volunteer hours for participation. See the Operations Manual for more information.
